Conference Tracks:
A Home for Everyone operates five tracks and invites potential presenters to submit proposals related to one of these tracks:
- Development – The generation of new housing units and/or the preservation of existing units. This track can include rental, home ownership, and other models. Any aspect of the development process can be looked at in this track including construction methods, financing, laws and rules, case studies, trends and emerging information, and more.
- Homeownership – This track looks specifically at issues around creating, retaining, and supporting low-income homeowners. Topics that are commonly addressed in this track include updates to real estate laws, housing rehabilitation programming and funding, case studies, new construction methods, etc.
- Homelessness – This track addresses the continuum of the unhoused and the challenges faced by those who lack housing and by those who attempt to deliver housing for the unhoused. Presentations often look at case studies, current legal cases and their impacts, new laws and rules, federal and state plans, new developments and projects, and more.
- Fair Housing – This track discusses the impact of fair housing laws and how discrimination impacts housing.
- Leaders and Future Leaders – New for 2026, this track will deliver sessions focused on nonprofit and business aspects, rather than exclusively on housing-related topics.
Looking for the Advocacy track? It’s being absorbed into the other tracks, which will each have their own advocacy-focused session.
