When does the conference start? 

The conference programming will begin promptly at 9:00 am on Tuesday, July 17th. Registration will open at 8:00 am. The first session is a plenary session and the speakers will begin at 9:00 and go until 10:15.

How do I sign up for workshop sessions?

When you register, you will indicate which sessions you intend to attend during each one of the 5 workshop sessions. While we ask for your choices at registration, if things change and you wish to attend another workshop session, that’s fine. If you sign up for the bus tour of Green Bay projects, note that the tour will take two workshop sessions (Sessions 2 and 3 on Tuesday). If you register for the bus tour, and change your mind, please let the staff at the registration table know.

Which meals are covered under the cost of my registration?

The conference registration includes a light continental breakfast on Tuesday morning (coffee, fruit and muffins), a full breakfast on Wednesday, lunch on both days, and appetizers with a cash bar at the Tuesday evening reception.

Do you offer scholarships?

We are pleased to be able to offer a limited number of scholarships for the conference. These scholarships are made possible because of our generous sponsors. This year, we are changing our scholarship policies so that we can help as many applicants as possible. We are offering scholarships to cover all conference registration costs and will also provide up to $50 in expenses to cover the costs of the hotel and travel. Reimbursement for these costs will be provided after the conference, once we have received receipts for hotel or travel expenses. Scholarship recipients will receive reimbursement procedures at registration. To apply for a scholarship, please complete the online form.

Can I pay by Check?

Yes, if you wish to pay by check, you may do so. Please contact with your choice of sessions and any dietary restrictions. Please note that your registration will not be confirmed until we receive payment. Checks should be made out to Wisconsin Partnership for Housing Development and mailed to: 2045 Atwood Ave, Ste 101A, Madison, WI 53704.

What is the cancellation policy?

If you find you need to cancel your conference registration, please email If you cancel before July 1st, you will receive a full refund less a $25 administration fee. If you cancel your registration after July 1st, no refund can be made.

How much does registration cost?

General registration is $125, which includes all sessions and meals for both days. General registration is available until July 1st. After July 1st, the registration fee will increase to $140. If you wish to come for only one day, the registration is $90.
